Tripe.....is it a Load of Old Bollocks?
After a recent tweet to my local butcher, (AliDentmadbutcherMBE@dent_alistair) was picked up by the Tripe Marketing Board, I was a little puzzled. My relationship with Tripe has been peripheral at most....the odd kidney in a Lancashire Hotpot, Liver Bacon and Onions, and perhaps more daringly Sheep's Brains on toast. So when Katrina Murphy (Regional Director), and then Sir Norman Wrassle (Chairman of TMB) started liking my posts, I thought I'd better look into it.....
The Tripe Marketing Board was formed in 2012 and strives through the use of humour to promote Tripe. Its got to be a hard sell, as Tripes image is not glamorous, However, they pursue their goal with a huge amount of wit and enthusiasm, and it would be fascinating to know if they have had any measurable affect on sales.

They have a very active presence on Facebook and Twitter and I would encourage you to visit their website http://tripemarketingboard.co.uk/ ...it is very very funny!

I'm not promising that I'm going to cook tripe......but as the TMB motto says 'Never Ever Say Never Again. Never, Never Again, Ever'.
Anyway, I've taken the first step......I am now a fully paid-up member of Tripe Club. Let me know what you think.....have you had any Tripe Experiences....good or bad?.
